| Acrow
can provide solutions to shoring requirements with both its bridge
towers and Superprop® Shores.
Acrow Superprop® Shore is
assembled from four standard Acrow Panel Bridge reinforcing chords
pinned together to form a cruciform section. This single Superprop®
Shore is capable of carrying a load of up to 245 metric tonnes. Thus,
a minimal number of Superprop® Shores braced with Acrow
Panels provide a shoring system unrivalled in strength and simplicity.
Such a system can be used to support either in situ or precast concrete
construction or to provide a temporary pier for a bridge or a gantry.
Acrow Superprop® Shores may be used in any vertical, horizontal
or knee-bracing application.
Standard lengths of Acrow Bridge reinforcing chords are 762 mm, 1500
mm, and 3000 mm. Any combination of these lengths may be pinned end-to-end
to result in Shores of virtually any length. The adjustable head and
base units are designed to accommodate standard hydraulic jacks for
setting the load to the proper height.
Splicing of shores to each other, to the head and base units and to
the Acrow Panel bracing is accomplished with Acrow Panel pins and
safety clips for rapid assembling.
